Agent Orange is a toxic herbicide that was used extensively by the U.S. military to clear dense forests in the Vietnam War and the Korean War in the 1960s. These chemicals have been proven to cause serious and fatal diseases that take years to develop.
Thousands of veterans have already received compensation through the original class action lawsuit against the manufacturers of Agent Orange. Unfortunately, the benefits of the original settlement ended on December 31, 1994.
On June 9, 2003, a Supreme Court decision opened the door for veterans who have been diagnosed with an Agent Orange condition after 1994 to pursue claims against the manufacturers.
