James Wise

Jim is a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley. He attended Youngstown State University, where he received a B.A. in Social Work with a minor in Criminal Justice. He received his J.D. from Cleveland State University. Jim has over 20 years experience in the legal and private security field, including criminal defense and death penalty litigation.
He was also an instructor at Youngstown State University, as well as the Police Academy. Jim is a former Civil Service Commissioner for the City of Cortland and a former member of the St. Joseph Hospital Medical Ethics committee. He has received several Northeast Ohio Legal Services recognition awards.
