A lifelong resident of the Youngstown area, Attorney Eugene Fox attended Youngstown State University and Ohio State University before earning his law degree from Ohio Northern University Law School in 1952. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar later that year, and in his five decades of practice has worked in criminal, family and personal injury law.

His accomplishments include:

• Admitted to practice in the Ohio Supreme Court (1952), federal court for the Northern District of Ohio (1953) and the United States Supreme Court (1961).
• Lecturer for the Ohio Legal Center Institute, the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Mahoning and Trumbull Counties Academy of Trial Lawyers.
• Former president, Mahoning County Bar Association; also served as secretary/treasurer for over 20 years.
• Included in The Best Lawyers in America, a national peer review of attorneys and judges.
• Named Lawyer of the Year by the Mahoning County Bar Association (1989).
